Thembe has over five years’ experience in facilitating creative writing workshops for arts organisations, schools, community groups and charities. Previously collaborating with the National Literacy Trust, Black Girl Festival, Apples and Snakes, JW3, Gold and Ashes Project and Gloucester History Festival, Thembe has led workshops in various settings nationally and internationally.

As a trained writing for wellbeing facilitator, Thembe is passionate about creative writing as a therapeutic practice. In her workshops she seeks to create safe and encouraging spaces for writers at all levels to find ways into experimenting with poetry and expressing their voices.
